Excellent case studies book

This case studies book serves as a supplement to basic pathophysiology textbooks for learning the subject of pathophysiology. The book is not intended to stand alone unless the student has some background in pathophysiology, but used while taking a pathophysiology course, it has significant merit. I highly recommend this case studies book for anyone who is currently enrolled in a pathophysiology or pathology course. Only teachers who have adopted the case studies book for a pathophysiology course have access to an answer key for the book.

Just what I needed...

I just started teaching a Pathophysiology course & was looking for case studies for the students. These case studies are current, concise, & reasonable for the students; each one provides enough information to get them started without 'leading' the student. I watch the students as their critical thinking skills start to spark...You know, the 'Ahhh, now I get it!" expression that comes over their faces. Well worth the investment. Thanks~~~

Easy Read with good case studies!!

I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!
